Benefits of EQIP Organic

Applicants will only compete for funding with other organic applicants, reducing the amount of competition for funding and increasing the chances of having your application funded.

EQIP Organic applicants are eligible for higher payment rates than standard EQIP program participants for the following six conservation practices, also called "Core 6" practices.

Many other conservation practices are also available to EQIP Organic participants, but will not be eligible for higher payment rates.

The full list of eligible conservation practices and payment rates, as well as this year's ranking criteria is on the application materials and documents page.
