The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is a voluntary program that provides technical and financial assistance to agricultural producers and forest land owners who want to improve and protect the condition of soil, water, air, plants and animals.

NRCS will provide financial compensation for part of the cost of establishing and maintaining conservation practices that are necessary for improving the natural resources on your land.

Examples of EQIP projects in Massachusetts include solving wastewater management issues on Mapleline Farm and installing a manure storage facility on Morven Allen's organic dairy farm.
