WHIP Application Materials & Documents

In addition to the application, you will need to file several forms to certify that you are eligible to participate in federal programs. Please contact your local NRCS office for assistance with these forms.

WHIP payment rates, ranking criteria & state plan

The documents below will be updated soon for 2010. Until then, please refer to the 2009 documents. No major changes were made from 2009 to 2010.

WHIP Ranking Criteria (2009) - the tool used in Massachusetts to rank WHIP applications. Applications scoring highest in the state will be awarded funding first.
WHIP Eligible Practices & Payment Rates (2009) - a list of all of the conservation practices available through WHIP and the payment rates for each.
