In RI, the CSP watersheds over the past two years have included several sub-basins within the Narragansett Bay watershed, and in 2006 Massachusetts selected part of the watershed by focusing on a section of the Taunton River sub-basin.

This year, RI proposes to work with MA to continue focusing CSP in the Narragansett Bay watershed. Specifically, the 010900040, 0109000407, 0109000408, and 0109000409 10 Digit HUC watersheds will be included, except for the islands located in the Bay, which we hope to focus on in 2008. The area selected for 2007 is a portion of the Narragansett Bay Watershed at 212,000 acres (~331 square miles), of which 105,000 is in Rhode Island and 107,000 is in Massachusetts.

HUC numbers: 0109000404, 0109000407, 0109000408, 0109000409
