FeatureBeverly Daignault: Celebrating a Decade as an Earth Team Volunteer
Beverly's responsibilities include typing, filing, answering the phones and providing administrative assistance for the Berkshire Conservation District’s tree and bulb fund raising programs. On December 8th, 2004, Beverly was honored by her coworkers and friends, who organized a celebratory luncheon for her. In addition to sandwiches, snacks and cake, Beverly was given a certificate of achievement by Congressman Olver’s office, and gifts from her coworkers. Earlier this year Beverly was recognized as Massachusetts' 2004 Individual Volunteer Award recipient at the state's Employee Appreciation Day. Beverly received a certificate and an Earth Team umbrella for this accomplishment. Last year, Beverly was selected as the 2003 Outstanding Federal Volunteer of Western Massachusetts by the Federal Executive Association of Western Massachusetts. Over the years, Beverly has logged a total of 8,755 hours (and counting). The Pittsfield service center has benefited immeasurably from Beverly’s dedication and hard work over her decade of volunteering.
