From Springfield, Mass.: Take I-91 north to exit 19 (Rte 9, Northampton/Amherst). Follow Route 9 east toward Hadley/Amherst.

Continue on Route 9 past hotels and shopping centers, about 5 miles, to the intersection of Route 116 at the Amherst Town Common. Turn right on to Route 116 and proceed southbound for about 2 miles.

When the Hess gas station comes into view on the left, slow down and turn right into the Amherst Office Park. (If you reach Pomeroy Lane, you've gone too far.)

The NRCS office is the third building in the Amherst Office Park. Our front door is marked with a USDA-NRCS sign.
